From its vantage point on the Piscataqua River, the Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel looks out over Maine's coast and ships arriving from around the world. Located just one hour north of Boston and south of Portland, Maine, the hotel offers a scenic and convenient setting for every type of visit. Situated in the heart of the downtown historic waterfront district, we are the ideal location for exploring the area's historic homes and sites, boutique and gallery shopping, fine dining, and live entertainment. Harbor and whale-watching cruises depart from the dock directly across from the hotel. Our warm and friendly staff will welcome you into the grand lobby, with its sweeping views of Portsmouth Harbor. The hotel's sunny and spacious guest rooms and suites are a welcome retreat after a day's adventure. Special Conditions Guests must be at least 21 years of age to check in. Photo Identification is required at the time of arrival. From March 5, to March 12, 2006, the swimming pool will be closed. Please contact the hotel for further information. From March 13, 2006 through April 12, 2006, the main lobby will be under renovation. There will be no service disruption to the meeting facilities or guestrooms.
