Stillwaters Outfitting is centrally located in Billings, Montana and has provided quality fly fishing float and wade trips on several of Montana's premiere trout fisheries for over eighteen years. The world famous Bighorn River is south of Billings where a 13-mile float trip yields large catches of 15-inch to 20-inch rainbow and brown trout. The Yellowstone River immediately west of Billings flows through some of the more scenic and less populated sections of the Yellowstone Valley with rainbow, brown and cutthroat trout in the one to three-pound class.
For more secluded, mountain fishing, the Stillwater River and Rock Creek offer scenic getaways where rainbow, brown, cutthroat, and brook trout are prolific in number. Stillwaters will arrange lodging for all trips according to the location and preferences of the client and offers flyfishing instruction through licensed and insured guides. Equipment rental and fishing accessories are provided by local fly shops.
