State-of-the-art aquatic center and marine park, developed at a cost of $20 million and opened to the public in 1998. “The Hawaiian Aquarium” houses an amazing collection of Hawaiian marine life, with live coral displays, showcasing sea turtles, sharks, rays, and hundreds of endemic animal species. Includes a unique acrylic tunnel through a 750,000-gallon “Open Ocean Exhibit” filled with more than 2,000 fish. Also outdoor touch pools and interactive displays.
