Historic, 19th-century steam train with open-air coaches. Operates between Lahaina and Ka’anapali, along a 6-mile stretch of track, daily from 10.15 a.m. until 4 p.m., passing by sugarcane fields and scenic vistas. Trains depart from each end—from the Lahaina and Ka’anapali stations—approximately every 1¼ to 2 hours; train rides are around 1 hour each way, with live, entertaining commentary enroute. Also “Dinner Train” on Thursdays, offering all-you-can-eat Hawaiian-style barbecue and live Hawaiian music and dancing, departing Ka’anapali at 5 p.m. Round trip fare: $18.95 adults, $12.95 children (3-12 yrs., under 3 yrs, free). Dinner Train: $76.00 adults, $43.00 children.
