The Mission of the Center for the Arts is to enrich and expand community participation in the Arts. We do this by hosting a wide variety of performances throughout the year - concerts, theater, dance, speakers, conferences and more.
The Center is a 215-seat theater with in-house sound and lighting capabilities. Local community arts’ presenters also rent the Center for their own performances. The Crested Butte Mountain Theatre, CB School of Dance, Crested Butte Music Festival, and the Crested Butte Reel Fest will all host events at the Center during the year.
A true community asset, the Center for the Arts offers affordable rental rates for all types of needs. Please contact our Rentals Manager if you would like to host an event at the Center.
