Originally established in 1980 as the Girard Winery, the 55-acre estate was purchased by Leslie Rudd in 1996. The winery is situated on an oak-studded knoll near the Oakville Crossroad, overlooking the estate vineyard. Rudd offers primarily estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon. Small lots of Napa Valley Chardonnay and a Sauvignon Blanc from the Bacigalupi Vineyard in the Russian River Valley are also produced. Open for sales, tasting and tours by appointment, daily at 10.30am and 2.30pm.
