Built in 1979, the winery features sunken cellars, an observation tower, and a formal garden on the roof. Newton has 60 acres of vineyard located on the terraced slopes of Spring Mountain, at elevations ranging from 500 to 1,600 feet, as well as an old vineyard in Napa Valley’s Carneros region. Varietal, vintage-dated wines produced here are Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Claret and Chardonnay. Tours and tasting by appointment only, Tues. and Fri. at 11am.
