1,250-acre state-owned coastal reserve, with sea lion and sea otter colonies and brown pelican breeding grounds. The reserve is also a good place for whale watching—in season. Picnic facilities available; also hiking trails. Open daily 9am-5pm (9am-7pm in summer); admission fee: $8.00 per car.
