The Ramada Plaza Hotel Phoenix at Metro Center serves the Greater Phoenix metro area, typically referred to as the Valley of the Sun. During the Summer of 2006, the Ramada is undergoing a complete renovation, resulting in a hotel where ALL GUEST ROOMS are NONSMOKING. The Ramada Plaza is well located in the Phoenix Metro Center business and shopping district, which is the departure point for all Northern Arizona destinations including, Sedona, Flagstaff, Snowbowl skiing, and the Grand Canyon. Although the Ramada is located in Phoenix, it is ideally located to visit the new facilities that are blossoming on the west side of the Valley of the Sun. The University of Phoenix Stadium, home to the Arizona Cardinals of the NFL, recently named one of the 10 finest sports arenas in the world, is only 12 miles away. Just next door is Jobing.com Arena, a new concert venue and home to the Phoenix Coyotes of the NHL, and the new Glendale City Center, a shopping and entertainment complex that when completed in Fall 2006 will boast the largest "media and signage district" west of Times Square. Also nearby are two of the sites that host Cactus League MLB Spring Training, every March. Phoenix Downtown, the Arizona Center, and Scottsdale's gallery district are all a short drive away. Breakfast anyone? Breakfast for every guest at the Ramada Plaza Hotel Phoenix is a free, full, hot breakfast buffet. Pick up your complimentary copy of USA Today and join us. All rooms have coffeemakers, free wireless high speed internet access, microwaves, refrigerators, iron and ironing board, Moen Revolution Shower Heads, and Ramada Citrus Ginger Spa Amenities. Our outdoor pool is heated, seasonally, and is accompanied by a spa and sun deck. Hosting a meeting? We have over 2,300 sq ft of meeting space and can cater to suit any need. Plan to join us at the Ramada Plaza Hotel Phoenix Metro Center the next time that Arizona is included in your travel plans. You'll be glad you did.
