Husa Reina Victoria got the facelift it deserved in the late ’80s. Since the 1920s, this hotel in the city center has been the classic place to stay, with visitors including King Alfonso XIII and his queen along with many of the most famous contemporary Spanish artists, such as Picasso, the poet García Lorca and the playwright Manuel de Falla. Rooms are spacious and retain a classical feel, though the modern touches go far in making the stay feel as it should – grand.
