The 18th-century Palazzo Sturm along the Brenta’s left bank chronicles Bassano’s ceramic production from the 16th century to the present. Pieces displayed chronologically depict the evolution of ceramic styles and techniques and include a collection of pieces by the 18th-century producers Manardi and Antonibon. There are some contemporary ceramics on display as well as pieces found in archaeological excavations. As you walk through you’ll notice paintings and frescoes on the walls by Anselmi and Zompini from the 18th century, as well as stucco decorations.
