If you’re in the mood for home cooking and you’re in the neighborhood you won’t be disappointed at Al Ritrovo, a popular restaurant (especially on Sun) decorated with antique cooking utensils and farm tools. Several of the pasta dishes, including the hearty bigoli al anatra (thick pasta prepared with a duck sauce) are served in parmesean crisp shells. The pasta and dolce here are homemade and, if that’s not enough reason to stop in, then its location near many of Valpolicella’s cantine, should be.
