Erected in the 14th century by the Scaligeri clan, the various sale in Torri’s castle exhibit Torri’s colorful history from the fishing trade and the craft of boat building that were such vital aspects to olive and citrus cultivation. There are many interesting things to see, including a reconstructed olive press with its stone parts dating back to Roman times, antique fishing nets, a flat-bottomed gondola and the 18th-century citrus grove. During summer months, the castle hosts outdoor cinema evenings.
