In Asolo’s historic center, just across from Piazza Garibaldi and the cathedral, stands the quaint Hotel Duse, named after the great Italian actress. There are eight doubles equipped with a mini-bar, air conditioning, telephone and television, but the most spacious rooms, with pretty views of the piazza, are 103, 203 and 303. The sloped, wood-beamed ceilings enhance the atmosphere of the junior suite on the top floor that sleeps five and is ideal for a family. Breakfast is an additional Euro 6 per person.
