What better souvenir to return home with than a working knowledge of Veneto cooking? The skilled instructors at Peccati di Gola impart their love of cooking to students through a variety of themed classes, such as “Torte Salate,” which highlights several pastry-based meals, including torta di asparagi and crostata al pesto. Instructors help students refine their kitchen know-how while developing a genuine ap-preciation for local cuisine and the valuable role seasonal ingredients play in creating delicious dishes. Classes are small and taught in the home of one of the instructors from 6:30-9:30 in the evening, beginning with the instruction and preparation of dishes and culminating in a dinner. Classes last for one or two nights and generally cost Euro 50 per person.
