Located in what was formerly the cloisters of the convent of the Eremitani friars, the civic museums exhibit a rich collection of 14th- to 19th-century art, including Bellini’s 15th-century Portrait of a Young Senator, as well as many Etruscan, Roman and Egyptian objects. The Bottacin Museum has an interesting collection of Venetian coinage and rare Roman medallions.
