The cost of Euro 97 in low season and Euro 106 in high season for a double is quite reasonable for this 3-to 4-star hotel. The Palota has done well to keep a 16th-century ambience, although it was constructed much later. The room rate includes use of the pool and sauna, whirlpool, fitness room, parking, and HBO on the cable TV.
Add to that the bowling alley, billiards, brasserie, and every adventure you might want, bookable without a hassle from the front desk. Sounds of the waterfall in the back, and the castle-like atmosphere, help make this a good value for the money. The food in the restaurant is absolutely top-notch.
