Located on the alley leading to the entrance of Yu Gardens, you’ll probably see the lines on the street before you see the restaurant itself, which is always a good sign. The Nanxiang has three floors, with differing opening hours, but if you come between the hours specified above you’ll always find a section that is serving. On the ground floor a kiosk turns out thousands of pork dumplings a day, while the upstairs dining areas offer a wider range of fillings. Reservations aren’t required.
