Another good general agency is run from Buffalo Bar&Café where you’ll find Aussie Alf and his team. He can arrange all the activities listed throughout the chapter and, as a foreigner who’s been living here for a number years, can offer useful advice about the area and what’s offered. Many of the companies operating the more specialist adventure sports are well-run and have high standards of safety, but if you’re thinking of getting involved it’s worth sticking with places recommended in this book, as there are a few cowboys out there. While cultural adventures are unlikely to be dangerous, for assured quality of service it’s also worth heading to recommended operators.
