For a broad general overview of arts and crafts available and costs you could head for the Friendship Store. The service is not great and the few tourists who venture in are greatly outnumbered by staff, but if you buy here the quality is assured and there’s even a
currency exchange to make sure you can afford the high prices. There’s also a good foreign language bookshop which sells yesterday’s international newspapers.
