A beautiful beach, with sand banks and safe for swimming, though the water can be quite rough. A great beach for wind-surfing and kite surfing, but there are no lifeguards on duty so care must be taken, as the coast is susceptible to strong currents, depending on the time of year.
There is a children’s playground and picnic tables shaded by trees. For a snack or a drink, there is a rum shop nearby and the Round Rock restaurant above the north end of the beach. There are also toilets and showers.
