Oistins is a busy beach with fishing boats coming and going. There are picnic tables, food stalls and rum shops. This is very much a business beach for the fishing industry. It is safe for swimming but you have to watch out for fishing boats.
There is no lifeguard, but there are showers and toilets and it’s great for kids who can watch the day’s catch being brought in and the fish being prepared.
